What you must submit
- CAS report (must be complete and ready to be requested by Feb 15)

New York University requires the LSAC Credential Assembly Service (CAS) for this application.
Tests accepted: LSAT or GRE.
Recommendation letters
Two letters of recommendation are required to complete the application, generally submitted through the LSAC Letter of Recommendation (LOR) Service (NYU Law does not use a recommendation form); a professor, an employer, or anyone who can speak to the applicant's ability to succeed in a rigorous law school program may write. Root-Tilden-Kern, Furman Public Policy, and Tiffany and Jubin Niamehr scholarship candidates must submit at least one additional recommendation addressing the scholarship-specific commitment/interest
Personal statement
Personal statement required. Because the Committee on Admissions does not use interviews in the regular selection process, the statement gives the applicant the opportunity to include more information about themselves than the application form conveys; NYU leaves the content and length of the statement to the applicant's discretion, and applicants may bring to the Committee's attention additional information that provides an understanding of their qualifications, goals, and potential to contribute to the NYU Law community
Fees and waivers
Application fee: $85.
Fee waivers: LSAC-approved LSAT or CAS fee waiver recipients have $85 NYU Law JD fee automatically waived (official JD FAQ)
