Conditional Chain

A conditional chain links several if-then statements end to end. From "If A, then B" and "If B, then C," you can validly conclude "If A, then C." The middle terms cancel out.

Example

"If it snows, school closes. If school closes, the game is postponed. So if it snows, the game is postponed."
