LSAT study hours calculator
Enter your current score and your goal score. You get an estimated study-hour range and a suggested weekly schedule.
Rough estimate. Individual results vary a lot. Some people need far fewer hours; some need far more.
How this estimate works
- The shape: each point on the scale is assigned an hour cost that grows as the score rises. Low-end points cost fewer hours; top-end points cost the most. This is the diminishing-returns pattern real students report.
- The range: the midpoint comes from that model; the range spans 25% below to 25% above it. It is a guess, not a measurement.
- What changes the number: starting fundamentals, study consistency, review quality, and how many hours are truly focused. Ten distracted hours are not ten study hours.
