Law school list builder

Enter your GPA and LSAT score. The tool sorts 196 ABA-accredited law schools into three rough buckets: reach, target, and safety. The buckets are rules of thumb, not admissions predictions.

How these buckets work

These are rough rules of thumb. Admissions is not a median-matching exercise. Schools weigh GPA trends, personal statements, work experience, and more. A school whose medians sit below your numbers is not a guarantee, and a school whose medians sit above them is not impossible.

What the medians mean

Each school's LSAT and GPA medians describe the middle of its Fall 2025 entering class. If a school's LSAT median is 160, half of last year's class scored above 160 and half scored below it. Medians move year to year, and they say nothing about scholarship money.
