Starting LSAT prep in June 2027

Summer intensive season: June is the best month to start if you want a big score jump: long days, fewer obligations, and an August or September test in range. Treat it like a part-time job and the gains come fast.

Your first four weeks

  1. Week 1: Diagnostic, then a full 8 to 12 week plan mapped to your test month.
  2. Week 2: LR type-by-type: master the high-frequency types first (flaw, assumption, strengthen/weaken).
  3. Week 3: RC daily. Summer is when RC improves because you can read every day.
  4. Week 4: End of month: first full timed test. Compare against your diagnostic, not your dreams.

How many hours

15 to 25 hours a week if summer is your main window. This is the intensive. Hours are an estimate. The right number is the one you can repeat every week without burning out.

Pick a test date early

Do not study toward "someday." A fixed test date changes every decision: how fast you move, when you start timing, when you taper. See the LSAT test dates page for the current schedule, then count backward from your date. If your runway is short, use the countdown plans matched to your exact weeks left.

Start with a baseline

The free diagnostic scores every question type and shows exactly where you are losing points. Take it in week one.
