What is bar passage rate?

The bar passage rate is the share of a school's graduates who pass the bar exam.

ABA disclosures report first-time and ultimate passage rates. Ultimate rates count graduates who pass within two years.

Low passage rates are a red flag about preparation, not just about the students.
