What is causal argument?

A causal argument claims that one thing causes another.

Causal claims are the most attacked arguments on the LSAT: correlation, alternative explanations, and reversed causation are the standard weakeners.

To strengthen a causal claim, rule out alternatives or show the effect disappears without the cause.
