What is guessing penalty?

There is no guessing penalty on the LSAT.

Wrong answers subtract nothing, and every question on the scored sections is worth the same one raw point.

That means a guess can only help you, never hurt you. So answer every question, even if you are picking at random in the last ten seconds.

The only cost of a guess is the time you spent on it, so guess fast and move on.

Related glossary entry: raw score.
