What is rebuttal?
A rebuttal is an answer to an objection: you acknowledge the other side's point and show why it does not defeat your claim.
In point-at-issue and dialogue questions, track who disagrees with whom and on exactly what claim.
Two speakers can sound opposed while actually answering different questions. No disagreement, no point at issue.
The disagreement has to be about the conclusion, not about a background fact both sides accept.
Related glossary entry: point at issue.
