What is evaluation?

An evaluate question asks which additional fact would help you judge the argument: the answer that, depending on how it turns out, would strengthen or weaken the conclusion.

Think of it as the question you would ask before deciding whether the argument works.

The correct answer is useful in both directions. That is the test. An answer that only helps one way is wrong.

Evaluate questions are just strengthen/weaken questions wearing a question mark.
