LSAT research from our question bank
We write all of our own practice questions. These studies report what is actually in the bank: real counts, computed from the data, nothing estimated. Each study shows the finding, exactly how it was computed, and what it means for your prep.
The studies
-
How our 1,181 practice questions break down by type
Two-thirds Logical Reasoning, one-third Reading Comprehension, and no single LR type dominates the mix.
-
How hard our practice questions are
Centered on medium: 46% of questions are rated level 3, with real hard material at the top end.
-
Short explanations and balanced answers: how the bank is built
Explanations average 34 words, and correct answers are spread almost evenly across A through E.
-
What our questions are about: topic coverage
Reasoning practice spread across six subject domains, with no domain dominating.
How these numbers are made
Every number on these pages was computed directly from the LSATPathway original question bank on 2026-10-12. That means a script read every question in the bank (N=1,181) and counted. No surveys, no estimates, no rounding tricks.
The bank grows every day, so these figures describe the bank as of the computation date printed on each page. If a stat cannot be computed from the data, we do not claim it.
Computed from the LSATPathway original question bank (N=1,181 questions) on 2026-10-12.
