What is sufficient assumption question?

A sufficient assumption question asks for the claim that, if true, would guarantee the conclusion.

The right answer bridges the gap completely: add it to the premises and the conclusion follows with no room left.

Sufficient assumptions are often stronger than necessary ones. A claim can be sufficient without being necessary: the argument needs something, but it does not need this exact thing.
