What is principle question?

A principle question asks for the general rule that justifies the argument, or asks you to apply a given principle to a case.

When the principle is the answer, pick the rule that covers the specific case: broad enough to apply, narrow enough to be supported.

When the principle is given in the stimulus, treat it like a conditional rule and apply it mechanically to each answer choice.
