What is resolve the paradox question?

A resolve-the-paradox question gives you two facts that seem to conflict and asks for the answer that explains both.

The right answer lets both facts be true at once: it introduces a distinction the stimulus left out.

The trap answers explain only one fact, or explain something the stimulus never said. Both stated facts must survive the explanation.
