What is weaken question?

A weaken question asks for the answer that makes the argument weaker.

The right answer attacks the link between premises and conclusion: it offers an alternative explanation, shows the sample was unrepresentative, or breaks a key assumption.

Weaken answers do not have to disprove the conclusion. They just have to make it less likely. If the conclusion feels shakier with the answer added, it is a weakener.
