What the June LSAT is good for

Registration deadline guidance

Registration closes April 29, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. That lands during final exams for many students - register in March, not during finals week.

Summer test slots are popular. Scheduling opens May 25, 2027; pick your slot early.

LSAT Argumentative Writing opens June 1, 2027. Do not let it hold up your score - finish it in the first week.

Score release timing

Scores from the June 2027 administration will be released June 30, 2027, about three weeks after the test window.

If you are starting now: a prep sketch

If you are starting now (mid-October) and targeting June, you have about eight months - a slow, thorough plan:

  1. Months 1–3

Free diagnostic, then patient untimed fundamentals. With this much time, there is no reason to rush into timed work.

  2. Months 4–6

Untimed drilling by question type. Fix every recurring miss pattern before you add the clock.

  3. Months 7–8

Timed sections, then weekly full practice tests with same-day review. Build test-day stamina gradually.

  4. Final week

Taper. Light review, sleep, and confidence built on eight months of work.
