What the November LSAT is good for

Registration deadline guidance

Registration for the November 2026 LSAT closed October 1, 2026. Future November deadlines follow the same pattern - about six weeks before test day, 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

If you missed the deadline, your next option is the January 2027 administration. Do not try to register after the deadline closes; LSAC does not reopen it.

Scheduling opens October 27, 2026. Pick your test slot as soon as it opens - choices shrink fast.

LSAT Argumentative Writing opens November 3, 2026. Complete it before scores release or your score will be held.

Score release timing

Scores from the November 2026 administration will be released December 2, 2026 - about three weeks after the test window. That puts the score in your hands well before typical January application deadlines.

If you are starting now: a prep sketch

If you are registered for November and studying now (mid-October):

  1. Weeks 1–2 (now)

Full timed practice test to find your baseline, then untimed drilling on your three weakest LR question types.

  2. Weeks 3–4

Timed sections daily. Review every miss the same day you make it.

  3. Final 5 days

Taper. One more full test early in the week, light review after that. Nothing new the day before.
